A UX bug found in Gnome, the user is unable to change the lockscreen wallpaper of gdm3 this bug can be patched by simply downloading this extension from my Github repository and install.
This script won't work with any previous versions of Ubuntu/Pop-Os because they comes with older version of gdm rather than gdm3. It also won't work if your system is set to a custom gdm3 theme. You will have to reset to the default configuration of gdm3 before using the script. This script is for default Ubuntu theme. This tool is made specifically to work with Ubuntu or Pop OS 20.04 and latest 20.10 as it now bundles all configuration files inside a .gresource file.
Run the script with root privileges such as sudo. If you see a message login image sucessfully changed, then, when you restart gdm or reboot your computer, your gdm background should be covered with the image you selected. You can always restore your original gdm theme any time with the script. This also supports solid colour background set, to use it simply type sudo ./change-gdm3-background.sh \#yourhexcode in place of "#yourhexcode" insert code of six characters like "#923641" or of three characters like "#8ca" without quotes.

Additive manufacturing, more commonly known as 3D printing, is a process of making three-dimensional solid objects from a digital model. Additive manufacturing is already used in a number of critical fields, such as medicine, aerospace, civil engineering, and industrial manufacturing. Confidentiality and privacy concerns are the most direct consequence of a data breach involving a 3D printer. This could compromise confidential data such as schematics and software code for products. For example, an individualized medical device may contain personally identifiable information and a data breach may trigger security and privacy laws – think HIPAA, various data breach notification requirements, or even Federal Trade Commission actions. It is not difficult to appreciate how security of 3D printing has tremendous value in industrial additive manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and defense. 3D printers are often internet-connected, and increasingly open-sourced. And because of that, you can virtually 3d print pretty much anything through a 3d printing service. 3D-printed homes are revolutionizing the construction industry by making home builds faster, cheaper and more sustainable. In less than 24 hours, 3D printers can print the foundation and walls for a small home at a fraction of the cost of typical construction. With this revolution the homes are getting more smarter everyday and athe the same time vulnurable, your privacy is at stake.
